Michelle Phillips is best known as Mama Michelle, for being in the 60s group The Mamas and Papas. She sang backup and co-wrote some of the bands biggest hits including Creeque Alley, and California Dreamin. During the 70s she began an acting career, appearing in Dillinger and The California Kid. Today she still continues to act and make guest appearances on TV shows.
