I'm Looking Through You

So many different shade sizes, styles and lens colors.  It's hard to choose the perfect sunglasses.  There's the round hippie lenses that Janis Joplin and John Lennon made popular in the late sixties.  There's also the oversize plastic mod shades that Jackie O made popular.  Sunglasses were an essential accessory in the sixties and still are today.  But the sixties shades were the best!

Pearl

Janis Joplin was the ultimate 60s hippie chick with amazing style.  She started out singing folk songs and later fronted Big Brother and The Holding Company and then formed her Kozmic Blues Band.  She performed at major festivals including Monterey and Woodstock.  Her best selling album was "Pearl" which was released three months after her death in 1971.

Shakin' All Over

Fringe was very popular in the sixties and seventies in fashion, especially amongst the hippies.  Whether it be worn on a jacket, pants, vest or boots it could be shook all over.
