Linda McCartney, Born September 24, 1941-April 17, 1998 was an American photographer from Scarsdale, New York. She was not only famous for taking pictures of famous musicians such as Grace Slick, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, Eric Clapton, Simon & Garfunkel, The Who, The Doors. But also for being the wife of Paul McCartney and Keyboardist in their band Wings. Linda met Paul McCartney at a Georgie Fame concert at the Bag O'Nails in 1967. They also met up again at a Sgt Peppers Launch Party. After the party they started seeing each other more and more and married March 12, 1969. They had three children Mary, Stella and James, Paul adopted Linda's daughter Heather. Linda also was an animal rights activist and loved horses. She was the author of many cook books and started her own company called Linda McCartney Foods. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1995 and died in 1998.
