Let It Be

Here are some photos of the let it be sessions and the famous rooftop concert. A couple years ago I got the Let It be documentary film for Christmas and it shows the Beatles in the studio rehearsing their songs and you could tell their was a lot of tension and arguments between them. But I think the Beatles were at the top of their game around that time, with Abbey Road and Let It Be, its sad they weren't the best of Friends though.

The Daily Howl

The Daily Howl was a book John Lennon created while at Quarry Bank High School. During class he would fill the pages of his composition book with news, weather reports, peoms, witty cartoon drawings and short stories and pass it around to the other students.

This was one of the first Beatles songs I've ever heard, this song got me hooked on the Beatles.

Give Peace A Chance

Here are some photos of the famous bed-ins John and Yoko held during the Vietnam War, to promote world peace. After their wedding on March 20th, 1969 they spent their week long honeymoon at the Amsterdam Hilton Hotel. They were greeted by fans and press while lying in bed discussing peace. The walls of the hotel room were graced with drawings and signs saying Hair Peace and Bed Peace. The bed-in event is explained in the song"Ballad Of John And Yoko"
